Make Your Vote Count

Make Your Vote CountMakeItCount2013

We should each be praying that God will give us wisdom as we cast our vote in the upcoming Federal election. To help you think through some of the important issues facing our country, you may wish to look at ACL's stated positions of each party on a number of important issues.

On Sept 2nd a panel of Christians from different political persuasions discussed Christian perspectives on many of the policy issues being discussed in this election, and the webcast of this panel is also available here.

We hope that this will help you as you cast your vote on September 7th.

Special Winter Mens BBQ Breakfast

Special Winter Mens BBQ Breakfastriver-bobbin-head

Thanks to John Watson for arranging a very successful Mens' Breakfast on June 2nd at Bobbin Head. Over 25 men came, and we all enjoyed a great morning.

Thanks, too, to Andrew Tong for sharing about how God has been working in his life. It was great to be reminded of God's presence in every aspect of our lives and creation. What better place to be reminded of this than down at wonderful Bobbin Head?

David Warren-Gash took a few photos of the occasion:

p.s. We managed to raise $138 for the India Mission as well, so thanks very much!
